umm...kinda awkward.

since we're supposedly on the come up..havent really realized this but..

THERE'S OTHER REDEFS

• apparently there is a redef films, which kills my re.def stamp idea on making movies
  
• also there's a ReDeFintion dance team. which is then again ironic, because each of us [raf, me, jv] have a dance background.

so which brings us to the question.. what about our name now? im not really mad or anything because its not like we're hella established. just bummed out because we thought that re.def was already an unique name and our concepts behind it. end pessimism. its good that we're still on the come up because we can easily change our name and what not. plus the R&D was really hard to do a logo with. so for now its still RE.DEF//RE/DEF, but the name will change.

read: JV/RAF we need to talk about this ASAP.

Fallen curtains. Hello Orange County

So, I had an introduction to Orange County for the very first time guided by my friend Diana. It was interesting...
In California I have only been to:
San Diego, Los Angeles (sorta), Sacramento, and San Fransisco...

Around the United States:
Chicago, New York/Jersey, Philadelphia, Seattle, Guam and Hawaii.

Around the world:
Japan, England, Italy, Ireland, Germany, France, and Philippines

Too be honest, I'm very sheltered. I do not know much about the world, and I'm glad to some degree, I like my bubble. ..

The point I'm trying to get is that I want to Orange County today.
I enjoyed myself, I'd go again.

Honestly, I was hoping I'd run into some peeps from Triumvir today, oh well I could dream right?


Never seen a 1 Freeway before, I got some skills for taking a photo while going 100mph.


I do like 'some' pictures I take, I should just take photography instead if I do say so myself ho ho ho

Little Saigon, i'll only come here with vietnamese friends. This place was dope, I wish I took a picture with the three wise men. Then add a stupid caption saying: "pil1, the 4th wise man" haha... Alright, I'm going to write that one in my joke book.


The anti-mall was probably the best artistic thing that happened to me that day. It's probably one of the dopest places in California i've been to.


So after mentioned above, I decided to ruin the picture with me sitting on a stone :)

:What I've learned:
Not much, OC was pretty dope, I still wished I ran into someone from Triumvir though.. haha
Made me think of more ideas and designs for future releases. Well, I mentioned verbal earlier. I don't really like the Teriyaki Boyz that much, I don't like sound, but they flow pretty dope. I prefer their original projects: m-flo, wise, rip slyme. I can't believe how different they sound compared to that of their TB group. Any who. As you all know, i'm more into the DJ Shadow and Japanese Rock and American Indie Rock scene.. But all day Diana and I bumped TB stuff~

Thinking of just getting contacts instead of laser surgery. Thoughts?

Brand Spotlight: Destiny by Futura

major streetwear powerhouse STUSSY, has been around for 25+ years. originally founder Shawn Stussy wrote his name 'Stussy' on his surfboards over in Laguna Beach, CA. then surfbrand, Stussy has become a streetwear general. anyone in the street wear scene has an item of stussy clothing, because of their designs and their decently prices. so for Spring 08, Stussy has invited NYC graf legend, Futura 2000 to design a sub-brand of Stussy, namely Destiny.



















Destiny is making noise this season. Futura came up with a distinctive take on Stussy's handwritten style of tag. Destiny is much like a collabo, but its taken even further with the amount of clothes and items Futura designed for Stussy. The graf legend did shirts, hoodies, jackets, shorts, board shorts, caps (new era/military inspired), list goes on yo. Sorry ladies, Destiny is mens only. Destiny is yet another reason why Stussy should be everyone's best friend in the street wear scene.

okay so since erwin got himself a mac, im actually gettin a new laptop. Video blogs will be a commmon site for this blog/page for many months to come. Be on the look out this summer, we've got a lot of things planned.
