This was the first graphic I wanted to do for clothes back in 2005 when I first got into bleach. I still love the art style of bleach comics, one of my bigger artistic inspiration. Anywho, I like it.

RD Rabbit

If you try hard enough you can see the RD symbol in the rabbit. The rabbit was inspired by many random korean and japanese cartoons.. the most notable one being the Papel caddie from PangYa

okay theres a story to this. so back in the bay for my final collection for my PACE internship i made this box & shirt for my cultural coordinator. the shirt was chocolate brown and i stenciled a faceless female onto it with black & white. it was kinda like symbolic of kinda 'keep the women close to your heart' type of shit. the idea recently resurfaced today during school. so the first shirt i made it was a 1 of 1. i never made another shirt and never sprayed another one like it. & to kick it was more of a down for the brownness message. this time its more of a play on music & hip hop. 

i'm not sure if R.DEF as a whole will put this into production. i wasn't feelin the fonts at all, but as a personal project i will probably make this into a shirt with a sprayed RDef logo on the back & without text.

5 random designs, yes.

a) so basic, simple logo. RD with a bunny becase..b) when you throw up R.D with your hand you get a bunny looking figure. RDEF son. c) then instead of using the familar running WE RUN 858 bullshit, i'd thought to place a crown to denote that we truly run this northside shit. d) using the familar running silhouette, and inspiration from the Pharcyde & J.Dilla had to do it. e) and this one i wanted to come up with a phrase that had redef in it some how. WATCH OUT FOR IT SON. love
